When Can I Get The Wounds Wet Following A Body Lift?
Added on 11th June 2021
We tend to recommend that patients keep the wounds dry for a week after a body lift, keeping on a garment and trying to get their posture back to the way it was, but not doing a lot else. After a week certainly you would have a wound check and we would get patients to shower and bath as usual at that point.
Is A Small Amount of Wetness Dangerous?
A little bit of wetness on the wound isn’t really a problem but I prefer that wounds are kept dry for certainly 5 to 7 days. For more information about body lift procedures or recovery, please contact us!
