Personal Profile: Mr Andrew Camilleri
Mr Andrew Camilleri is a Consultant Ear Nose and Throat Surgeon and has been practising in South Manchester since 1995.
Mr Camilleri is on the GMC Specialist Register and has been practicing as an NHS consultant since 1995. He is registered as a Head and Neck Surgeon and Otorhinolaryngologist with additional, specialist qualifications in both Otolaryngology (FRCS ORL) and General Surgery (FRCS).
Mr Camilleri is an honorary lecturer at the University of Manchester and member of the Specialist Accreditation Committee North Western involved with the appraisal and monitoring of both trainers and trainees. He is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons and he has an active interest in education. Mr Camilleri is a Clinical and Educational Supervisor at the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust for surgical trainees.
Mr Camilleri has a specialist interest in Rhinoplasty and offers both outpatient consultations and surgical treatment for a wide range of ENT procedures, for both paediatrics and adults.
Mr Camilleri has a broad rhinology experience and is able to assess, diagnose and treat functional nasal issues. Often functional issues exist in patients that wish to proceed with rhinoplasty procedures and treating functional issues is often an important consideration for patients wishing to proceed with a rhinoplasty procedure.
Mr Camilleri believes in providing the most optimal treatment for patients and understands the importance of both the functional and aesthetic considerations in relation to rhinoplasty. Mr Camilleri works alongside Mr Ross in providing joint consultations and surgery for patients as part of the rhinoplasty multi-disciplinary team. The aim is always to provide patients with the optimal outcome.
Mr Camilleri has been certified with the Royal College of Surgeons for cosmetic rhinoplasty which is an important consideration for any patient making the choice of which surgeon to proceed with.
