What Is Buttock Rejuvenation?
Added on 5th February 2021
A buttock rejuvenation is the creation of an aesthetic appearance of the buttock, or in layman’s terms – the bum. This can be done by a variety of means, the simplest is a change in diet and lifestyle but often patients wish to improve that further with surgery. By narrowing the waist and upper thighs with liposuction, you can attenuate the appearance of the buttock region to make it more aesthetic and improve the waist to hip ratio.
Fat Transfer Buttocks Rejuvenation
If you want to enhance the buttocks itself, there are different methods that can be done. The first is to volume enhance the buttock region with fat transfer, and if a liposuction is performed, this fat can be used to be injected into the buttocks region.
Buttocks Rejuvenation Using Implants
The second is breast implants, these can be placed under the skin or more commonly, in or under the muscle of the buttocks. You can also use local flaps or excess skin especially in weight loss patients for buttock enhancement.
Risks of a Buttocks Rejuvenation
All of these various techniques come with different risks and complications that will need to be discussed with your surgeon at a consultation.
