How Big Are The Scars Following Liposuction?

Often the scars following liposuction are very small, usually a centimetre or less, and these scars are actually left open so the fluid that’s injected can seep out. The recovery is pretty quick and scars heal well.
When Will The Scars Be Properly Healed?
Usually, at around 6 weeks there will be a well-formed scar that is maybe a little red or pink and slightly elevated but gentle massage should help that settle. Usually, the scars fade down so they’re virtually unnoticeable at around the 12 to 18 month period.
