Can I Drive Following An Abdominoplasty?

Follow an abdominoplasty the main question is can you drive safely and perform an emergency stop. This can be considered an insurance based question but at the point of discharge from the hospital Gary Ross doesn’t believe that a patient would be able to drive so being dropped off and collection before and after the surgery is advised.

At the one week review Gary also recommends not driving until he’s seen the patient. It’s highly unlikely that a patient wouldn’t be able to drive, however it’s best to have you’re review and a joint decision can be made at the time.
