Ayub Khan, MBBS, MSc, FRCS (Plast)
Mr Khan: Introduction
Mr Khan undertook Plastic Surgery training in a number of hospitals, including Royal Preston Hospital, St. James Hospital Dublin and St. Andrews Hospital Broomfield. Mr Khan relocated to the UK in 2000 and became a Fellow in Plastic Surgery of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2006. He then studied for a Master’s in Aesthetic Surgery (MSc Aesth), which he completed at Queen Mary University London in 2013.
Mr Khan has worked and trained in a wide variety of surgical fields, including burns, paediatric surgery, thyroid surgery, urology and war zone surgery in Peshawar, on the Afghan-Pakistan border. He then got his qualifications in Plastic Surgery (FRCS Plast) and General Surgery (FRCS).

Education & Training
Mr Khan has been a Supervisor Trainer in General Surgery and he is also a Clinical and Educational Supervisor for surgical trainees in Plastic Surgery. Mr Khan is an honorary lecturer at Manchester University in the Skin Ageing and Aesthetic Medicine MSc.
Mr Khan’s NHS practice is based at Wythenshawe Hospital and encompasses all general plastic surgery, such as scar revisions and skin cancer treatment. He performs plastic and burns reconstructive surgery in both paediatrics and adults. Mr Khan is also a core member of the Multidisciplinary team at Wythenshawe Hospital, where discussions take place for patients who are having skin cancer surgery performed in the local area.
Key Ethos and Specialities
Mr Khan has considerable experience in breast surgery, having undertaken over 300 cases varying from breast augmentation, breast reductions, mastopexy and gynaecomastia surgery. His other special interests include burns, complex wounds and scar reconstruction from patients who require skin cancer treatment and advanced Mohs reconstructive surgery.
