As you can see in the video above, we have provided two case studies of male patients taking up upper blepharoplasty surgery. We can see preoperatively that the two gentlemen have their brow sitting lower which means the heaviness of the eyelids are quite excessive.

With this added weight, the eyelid is being pressured downwards and it’s causing impairment to their vision, particularly for the second gentleman.

How it is beneficial for men to have an upper blepharoplasty

We can see from the postoperative results that the heaviness has been reduced for the patients. Although the surgery won’t elevate the brow in any way, the reduction in heaviness is beneficial for men. It allows them to be more comfortable as well as vision potentially being improved. This can be particularly noticeable when patients have left it so long that the excess skin begins to hang over the eyelid.
